Preparation

Detailed preparation is the key to any well-executed painting project. This is how we successfully prepare your exterior garage door for the right exterior metal coating to seal and protect it.

  • Tape/paper hardware, frame, driveway, and temporarily remove rubber seal.

  • Metal: Wash surface of door with environmentally friendly cleaning solution.

    Wood: Wipe down surface, surface sand of rough areas.

Application

  • Metal: Spray Two Coats:
    Dulux PITT-TECH Plus Metal Exterior Industrial Enamel in desired colour.

  • Wood: Spray Two Coats:
    Oil, Latex, or Hybrid stain.

Finishing

  • Fitz Painting Project Manager site walk around to note any areas of concern for final touchups.

  • Complete touchups as needed
