Warranty & Guarantee

Fitz Painting offers a 2-year Warranty on all of our Painting Services and a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee.

1.       Warranty Details:

“Natural Defects” means defects that occur due to temperature changes, settlement or moisture issues. For greater certainty, Natural Defects include, without limitation: (i) cracks caused by expansion and/or contraction; (ii) discoloration or change in the appearance of materials caused by the accumulation of dirt or other particulars; and/or (iii) damage caused by weather conditions or other acts of god. 

1.1.    Subject to the limitations set out in Section 2.0 below, all painting services are warranted and guaranteed to be free from Defects (excluding Natural Defects) for a period of 2 years from the date of completion of such painting services (the “Warranty”).

1.2.    The Warranty is inclusive of the labour and materials required to rectify the Defect.

1.3.    During the Warranty period, Fitz Paintings’ responsibility to customer is limited to correcting the Defect within a commercially reasonable timeframe at Fitz Paintings’ sole cost and expense. Under no circumstance shall Fitz Paintings be required to issue a refund during the Warranty period.

2.       Limitations:

2.1.    The Warranty in Section 1.0 does not apply to:

• Natural Defects;

• Defects caused by misuse, negligence, or improper maintenance by customer;

• Any Defects arising from workmanship done prior to a Fitz Painting service, including touching up work; and/or

• Any Defects that arise from paint or stain that is not purchased, approved and qualified by Fitz Painting.

2.2     Customer agrees that Fitz Painting shall have no liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages whether such damages arise in tort, contract or otherwise out of or in connection with the painting services.
